"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

Literally, even before I can remember, I've always been drawing. I find the visual arts an excellent medium of creativity, one that can be especially satisfying to both the viewer and creator. I have been drawing casually throughout my childhood, but only became much more serious about developing my artistic abilities since...April 3, 2010?...yeah, sounds about right. Since then, my sketchbooks have filled up and my arsenal of (actual) art supplies has increased in size. I have seen rapid and significant improvement in myself ever since, and though my ability still develops, I turn back to where I began and look forward to where I will end up. So, if any of you are just starting out, that's great! Keep on going and pursue your passions! You may find a gap in your progress along the way, but you'll improve if you keep practicing!...*sigh*...I really hope all of that didn't seem too tacky. Oh, and thanks for the pageview.
